Nimbus Supercuts in the 80s were produced from the original masters and pressed beautifully on the purest quality virgin vinyl. They were sold exclusively via mail order to readers only of the now defunct HIFI Today and Practical HiFi magazines of the time. Only 800-1200 of each Nimbus Supercut title were made and they are now very hard to find. It appears that there would be no further pressings and the metalwork was destroyed so supplies remain fixed. Many owners regard their Nimbus Supercuts of albums to be the best versions of a given album they’ve heard in terms of sonics and quality owing to amazing surface quietness.
